Bord-lode
BORD-LODE BORD-MAN, n. [bord and man.] A tenant of bord-land, who supplied his lord with provisions. BORD'-RAGING,n. An incursion upon the borders of a country. BORD'-SERVICE, n. [board and service.] The tenure by which bord-land was held, which was the payment of a certain quantity of provisions to the lord. In lieu of this, the tenant now pays six pence an acre.
