HEATH'FUL, a. helth'ful. Being in a sound state, as a living or organized being; having the parts or organs entire,and their functions in a free, active and undisturbed operation; free from disease. We speak of a healthful body, a healthful person, a healthful plant.
1. Serving to promote health; wholesome; salubrious; as a healthful air or climate; a healthful diet.
2. Indicating health or soundness; as a healthful condition.
3. Salutary; promoting spiritual health.
4. Well disposed; favorable.
