TACK'LING, ppr. Harnessing; putting on harness; seizing; falling on. TACK'LING, n. Furniture of the masts and yards of a ship, as cordage, sails, etc. 1. Instruments of action; as fishing tackling. 2. Harness; the instruments of drawing a carriage.
